Artist's Statement: Enjoying a new passion sometimes feels like cheating on your original one. The painting is always jealous, no matter what I do—playing drums, hiking, or even when I'm resting, it whispers, "How could you? You could be making something amazing right now, and you're wasting your time on rest.
