We are excited to present Tableau, a solo exhibition by Hermosa Beach-based ceramic artist Eric Brinkman, opening on March 7 at the Gallery of Hermosa. In this new body of work, Brinkman delves into the intersection of functional ceramics and fine art, crafting objects that serve both a practical purpose and a deeper narrative.

Each work in Tableau reflects Brinkman’s evolving vocabulary of materials—chosen not only for their individual properties but for how they interact within a larger system. Through this exhibition, Brinkman invites us to view these objects not simply for their utility, but as vessels for meaning, reflection, and personal contemplation.
