Custom Painting Agreement

Thank you for choosing to work with the Gallery of Hermosa to create your custom artwork. This agreement is between the Gallery of Hermosa, the Artist, and the Client.

  • Gallery of Hermosa exclusively represents the Artist for the purpose of the herein referenced commission.
  • Gallery of Hermosa shall use reasonable efforts to work with the Artist to have the subject art completed on time and as described.
  • Client agrees to hold harmless the Gallery of Hermosa and the Artist or any agent thereof, and not liable, for any damages arising from this project or the timing of completion.
  • Client understands the subject painting is not intended to be photo realistic. The Gallery of Hermosa and the Artist will use artistic discretion to capture the Subject. All copyrights belong to the Artist.
  • If reference photos or images are provided by the Client, only such images they own are allowed.
  • Deposit is refundable only if this agreement is canceled in writing (by email) prior to the start of the painting. Otherwise the Deposit is non-refundable.
  • Edits will be at the discretion of the Artist and may be subject to additional costs to be determined based on scope.
  • Payment in full of the Total Price (less the Deposit) is due upon completion and prior to shipment or at pickup by Client.
  • Required for Artist to begin: Receipt of Deposit; Source of Subject; 
  • Target completion date: 4-6 weeks from date of Deposit payment.
